We're super excited to announce this special nature walk at Glen Finglas in the Trossachs national park! This is a beautiful 10,000 acre estate of ancient woodland that is perfect for mushroom hunting, particularly for Chanterelle's which are in season in August.

Rich will be leading this foray and here are some of the highlights:

🔹 A walk through ancient woodland in a stunning part of the Trossachs national park, which is around 1 hour from Glasgow and Stirling. We'll be discovering lots of edible and medicinal fungi and plants along the way, and you'll learn how to identify them safely.

🔹 Beginner friendly, no experience needed.

🔹 Parking: at Glen Finglas visitor centre: https://goo.gl/maps/cz3XrhWfsnBB8ydt8

🔹 Midges and ticks can be around at this time of year so we recommend trousers and long sleeved shirts, and good insect repellent!

🔹 Please dress for the weather, bring waterproofs and wear good walking boots/wellies if it's rainy.

🔹 Bring lunch and any other food and drink to keep you going, and we recommend a small rucksack to stow things in.

🔹 We'll be taking photos and may do some filming too, so by signing up you're happy to be included in any shots.
