We're very excited to announce this unique foraging experience at a special location along the Severn Estuary (Chepstow side).
There are some interesting edible plants, seaweed and fungi in this area, and we'll sustainably forage, nibble and collect some while learning how to safely identify them, and some tips on culinary and medicinal uses!
For ecological and practical reasons we'll be strictly limiting this to 15 places, and please share cars where possible - parking is free but limited.
Rich will be leading this walk and here are some of the highlights of this foray:
🔹 A foraging walk taking in mudflats, woodland and meadow, discovering edible and medicinal wild foods.
🔹 Focus on edible seashore plants and some seaweeds, as well as general foraging including mushrooms in the woods.
🔹 Plant, tree, fungi, and seaweed identification.
Extra info:
🔹 Parking: is free but space is limited so please carshare where possible.
🔹 Please dress for the weather, bring waterproofs and wear good walking boots/wellies because its very muddy indeed!
🔹 Bring any food and drink to keep you going, and we recommend a small rucksack to stow things in.
